Just got back to Memphis today. It was an awesome trip with some really wonderful people. I am excited to see all that God will do in these students' lives this summer as well as my own.
We stayed and served at a place called MAM (Memphis Athletic Ministries) which is a gym developed to reach intercity youth for Christ through organized sports. They run camps, programs, sport teams, and just about anything else where kids can come, get off the streets, and be invested into. A wonderful blessing to be able to be there and see all that is happening and be reminded how much my heart beats for that group.
I'm not sure what God has for me after this year but every time I am around kids from the "hood" a passion just burns deeply inside of me that spurs me on...so we will see what happens for here. Right now, though, until He moves me, I am thrilled to be a part of a place and a vision that seeks to enrich kids lives so that they can make a difference in the world in the name of Jesus.

Oh and we are putting together a skit, so when it's all said and done, I'll post it so you can see it :)
